The UV DTF decal is formulated to adhere to hard, smooth surfaces and is built for waterproof performance and scratch resistance, suitable for adhesive vinyl art on outdoor tumblers and waterproof mug wraps. The DTF fabric transfer is a ready-to-press transfer intended for use with a fabric heat press; it prints full-color artwork for shirt transfers and fabric iron ons and is sold as the transfer only, not as a finished garment.

Choosing the right option

Select the UV DTF decal when you need a peel-and-stick solution for cup wraps, tumbler decals, or acrylic craft projects and you do not have access to a heat press. Choose the ready-to-press fabric transfer if you have a heat press and want long-lasting heat press prints on shirts, sweatshirts, or totes for a custom apparel print. Always verify the chosen product type and the listed design width so the proportional height fits your intended item.

Application and compatibility

UV DTF decals apply best to clean, hard, smooth, or gently curved surfaces such as glass cans, metal tumblers, mugs, and acrylic where waterproof and scratch resistant adhesion is required. Fabric transfers require a heat press and appropriate time, temperature, and pressure settings for the garment and yield vibrant results on compatible textiles when pressed correctly.

Care and maintenance

For items with UV DTF decals, hand wash gently and avoid abrasive scrubbers to preserve the waterproof, scratch resistant finish and adhesive vinyl art appearance. For garments with ready-to-press transfers, follow the garment manufacturer’s care instructions after pressing—typically turn inside out and wash on a gentle cycle—to maintain vibrant print and avoid premature wear.

Sizing guidance

Sizes represent the approximate design width; artwork height scales proportionally with the design. Use the listing images as a visual guide to compare hand-sized mockups and select the best width for tumblers, shirts, hats, or other DIY craft supplies. Confirm both product type (UV decal vs fabric transfer) and exact width at checkout to ensure the design fits your surface.

FAQ

Q: Which surfaces work best with the UV DTF decal?

A: UV DTF decals adhere best to hard, smooth surfaces such as glass cans, tumblers, mugs, acrylic, and many plastics where waterproof and scratch resistant cup wraps are needed.

Q: Do UV decals require a heat press?

A: No. UV DTF decals are peel-and-stick and designed for application without a heat press.

Q: Are fabric transfers ready to press?

A: Yes.
